extending projectContent() function

Please excuse my ignorance as I am relatively new to php!

What would be the best way to extend, or create a new projectContent function that is separate from the core and will not get broken when newer versions of The Secretary are released? Basically I want to amend the $image output of the 'one_by_one.plugin.php' to not include width and height in the tag.

IS there a level of abstraction above the view.php that is specifically for developers creating plugins etc? Obviously I have to create the hooks somewhere to link the functions together but I'm not sure where is the safest place, and I dont want to change any core code if I can help it.

    Got it! using anchors and hooks. In the project_view template I can call the anchor which is defined in my new plugin (basically copied the projectContent() function from view.php and amended to suit my needs)...if this helps anyone.

    Look forward to an official plugin writing guide in the future
